Trumpet 101 is perfect for beginners and younger students, guiding them through the parts of the trumpet, proper setup, as well as some scale vocabulary and fluency.

Meet Douglas Amos

Along with his role as third trumpet with the Erie Philharmonic, Douglas Amos enjoys an active career playing in orchestras across the Midwest and New England. Douglas made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2016 and graduated from the New England Conservatory with a master's in music in 2017. Today, Douglas lives right here in Fort Wayne, where he offers private trumpet lessons and master classes at local schools, as well as being on the trumpet faculty at Sweetwater Band & Orchestra.
